Military Spec Alternators

For the unsurpassed reliability and performance, SBC manufactures all of their alternators using military grade materials. This includes machining the housings and other components from solid 6061T aluminum and using only superior electrical components and conductive materials. SBC products meet the requirements of: ISO 9001; MIL-STD-461; MIL-STD-1275; MIL-STD-810; and DEF-STAN 61-5.* In addition, SBC uses a Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) on alternators for military use to prevent damage that can be caused by weapons and other tactical devices. This coating meets all specifications of MIL-DTL-53072C. * Please note that some of these standards and specifications are not applicable for every product.
